Classy & Fabulous Coco Chanel Quote Pink Purse Print

A good friend of mine commissioned me to come up with a print to introduce her little niece to the world of fashion and Coco Chanel.  This was a fun project for me.  Here is what I came up with:

It is available in my Etsy store.

My little 6 year old daughter was watching when I painted this image.
She wanted to do her own version and I promised to share it with you all.

Its Not Easy Being Green

It's not easy being green
Ok, so I'm a little obsessed with the Polyvore site and making style boards of things I would really like to have!

Here is a simple yet pretty 1950's sleeveless dress by Suzy Perette, a cream quilted Chanel bag, and the mint & vanilla eyeshadow palette by Shu Uemura.

Romantic Dolce & Gabbana Dress

Romantic

I fell in love with this Dolce & Gabbana Black Multi Flower Dress.  It reminds me of the 1960's wiggle dresses.  So I had some fun creating this style board; including a Prada Tote, Selima Sun Sunglasses for J. Crew, Christian Loubontin Vampanodo Satin and Suede Bow Platform Sandals, and Mac Nails in Morange.

Retro Pan Am Postcards!

I've added a new item to my Etsy shop.  I love the Pan Am show on  ABC.  The retro styles are great!
So I created:

A set of 10 (3 1/2 in. x 5 in.) postcards from my original watercolor artwork.
Paired with 10 "Pink Lemonade" A1 envelopes (3 5/8 in. x 5 1/8 in.).

Each set is tied with a pink organza ribbon. Perfect for gift giving.

You can send these as an all occasion note. They are also great for retro party invitations or thank you cards!

Here is a Pan Am party idea from Hostess With The Mostess.

Here's a fun idea from The Virtual Pan Am Museum
Serve dessert, coffee and liquor from a cart.  The carts below are in the spirit of Pan Am's famed international "cart service".

When you are giving or attending your Pan Am party, you will have to look the part.
The blog Lipstick & Cake has a great article on recreating the makeup from the TV show.

One last thing.  You can't attend a Pan Am party without a
