Etsy Shop Opening!

I've been thinking about opening an Etsy shop for a long time now.  When I finally  decided to do it, I had a hard time narrowing down my choices of what I would paint first.

These lovely ladies wearing their elegant hats just came to me while I was sketching out some ideas one day.

I really think it would be fun to live in a time when everyone wore hats everyday.

    Oh my gosh-- I LOVE your artwork!! Thanks so much for the kind words about the RH article and my blog - seems we have a lot in common :) I love hats (I have a mannequin in my studio named Edith Head whose sole purpose is to model 1940s hats!) Also love the hat, gloves and purse combinations. Love your blog - I'm following it - look forward to seeing more of your lovely artwork.
