In the 1930's designers like William Haines and Dorothy Draper decorated the homes of film stars, creating the Hollywood Regency style. This style really appeals to me because of it's glitz and glamour.
I also like the idea that this style focuses on people and the way they interact with each other instead of a huge television set being the center of attention. Smaller scale furniture in an eclectic mix of luxurious styles is the theme with this design. Here the cocktail hour and your company take center stage!
